BlizzCon 2023
A dozen game worlds, tens of thousands of fans, one convention hall. I led environmental art direction for the floor.

Overview
BlizzCon is Blizzard's annual convention. Every major franchise shows up and wants its own moment, all under one roof, all at once.
I set the look that held the whole event together.

My Role
Associate Creative Director. I owned the environmental look across every franchise zone: print graphics, props, lighting, and scenic installations. Each had to be accurate, color-correct, and aligned with the visual direction for its world.

The Challenge
Every franchise wants to shout. Put a dozen of them in one hall and it turns to noise. The job was to give each world its own territory without the floor reading as chaos.

The Approach
Hands-on oversight across scenic, print, lighting, and production teams. I built the environments around clear sightlines and a shared material language.
Then I walked it, every day, from load-in to doors, keeping every element placed correctly, color-accurate, and on direction.

The Outcome
BlizzCon opened with unified scenic, lighting, and environmental execution, and stayed that way from setup to showtime. Fans could find their franchise from across the floor and know exactly where they were.
